Gasometer Plant (Porto Alegre/RS)

The old thermoelectric plant located on the shores of Lake Guaíba continued in operation from 1928 to 1974. After that, it was listed and transformed into a cultural center.

The most characteristic feature of the building is the 117 meter high chimney. It can be seen from different angles in the state capital.
