City of Leer, Germany
It was built in 1894 and is located in Leer – Ostfriesland, Germany. Made in the German-Dutch Renaissance style, the building, today, still houses the seat of the city hall.
It is situated on the banks of the river Ems, close to the border with the Netherlands, the port city. Even though it is about 30km away from the coast, it has the capacity to receive large ships.
Of great tourist importance in the context of the region, the beauty of Leer attracts thousands of visitors every year. In Mini Mundo, reproduced in 1:24 scale, the building is located in the central area of the mini-city, and it houses the Municipal Public Library.
