The zoo is intended for protection, protection and conservation

This area is home to one of Beto Carrero’s greatest passions: animals. Here, visitors can see up close giraffes, elephants, camels, lions, birds of various species and many other rare animals from different places on the planet. Among so many animals, the visitor will find specific areas for certain species such as Ilha dos Babuínos, Passarela dos Tigres, and the Serpentarium.

Currently, the Beto Carrero World Zoo is home to around a thousand animals. Much more than a place for protection, we carry out the important work of conservation of endangered species. Together with renowned institutions, Beto Carrero World works so that the Brazilian fauna is preserved, disseminating the importance of our animals through raising the awareness of visitors and society.
