Lagoinha do Leste Beach is a Brazilian beach, located in the city of Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina. It is located in the southeast of Isla de Santa Catarina. It is named after the “S” shaped lagoon on the beach.

Its difficult access made it possible to preserve one of the last strongholds of the Atlantic Forest in Florianópolis. In 1992, the Lagoinha do Leste Municipal Park was created, comprising an area of 453 hectares, classified as a Permanent Preservation Area by Law No. 3.701/92.

There are two accesses, through trails, to Praia da Lagoinha do Leste: a longer path, approximately 4 km, through ‘Praia do Matadeiro’ (located beside Praia da Armação). In addition, another shorter (about 2.3 km), but steeper, through the Pântano do Sul. On the way along the trail to Praia do Matadeiro is the Toca da Baleia, a cave carved into the rock by the action of the sea.
