Mini Mundo City Hall, inspired by the Munich Town Hall building
The original construction was built between 1867 and 1908 and is located in Munich, Germany. The New Town Hall is the City Hall of Munich, located on Marienplatz, the city’s central square.
Built in Neo-Gothic style, it has a total area of 9159 m², with 400 internal divisions. On the ground floor is the Ratskeller restaurant.
The architectural complex is one of the city’s tourist attractions, with the Rathaus-Glockenspiel as its main attraction, a clock and chime with animated figures. Twice a day, they delight tourists and locals, staging local stories from the 16th century.
Mini Mundo built, as the seat of its city hall, a mini-building with architecture and details inspired by this work, due to the importance of Munich in the context of the Bavarian region. Strongly identified with the park, the region has been one of the main sources of inspiration and influence since the beginning of Mini Mundo’s history.
