Gramado’s Lago Negro

30 minutes – Visitation and time for photos

The Black Lake was idealized by Leopoldo Rosenfeldt. Due to a tragic fire in 1942, most of the trees were totally burned, saddening the landscape. To try to contain the fire, residents opened a crack in the ground, where they found a slope, which would later be transformed into an artificial lake, the Black Lake. Originally, that area was called Bom Retiro Valley and belonged to the Bier family. In 1953, through the initiative of Leopoldo Rosenfeldt, the site was reforested. He imported tree seedlings from the Black Forest region in Germany (his native country) and planted them around the lake.

Italian Bavarian-style portico

15 minutes

The portico along the Romantic Route coming from the Nova Petrópolis road was inaugurated in 1973 and impresses visitors with its Bavarian style. The base of the portico is built of stones, and the construction details are in wainscoting, a type of cut wood. Besides the portico, visitors are greeted by colorful gardens and a beautiful place for photos.

Handmade Chocolate Factory

At Fábrica de Chocolate Caseiro Artesanal, besides visiting and seeing the production of chocolates with unique quality, to satisfy the most refined palates and with much more chocolate, you can also visit the on-site store and delight yourself with the most varied products of the traditional brand of Chocolates Gramadense.

Gramado’s Pie Street and Ethnics Square

30 minutes

A much visited place that enchants and calls the attention of tourists and those who pass by it. Known for its sinuous crooked shape it reminds one of the most famous streets in California, Lombard Street.
This shape was idealized in 1922 by the owner Cal Henry with the purpose of eliminating the 27 steps that went down the hill and to enable car traffic on it.
The Crooked Street in Gramado is full of magnificent flowers and trees that make it even more beautiful and magical. Take pictures and play with your imagination.

Located in front of the Etnias Square and if you are a person who loves to take an authentic souvenir from every trip, you will find many options of products made by people from Gramado at the Francisco Oberherr Fair Space.

Gramado Crystal Theme Park

Pioneer in the production of artistic crystal in Rio Grande do Sul, today it represents one of the main tourist attractions in Serra Gaúcha. Since 2002, it has enchanted everyone with a live presentation of the manufacture of pieces using the millennial Murano technique and the production of artistic crystal.
Besides bringing people closer to the art developed by master glassmakers, we provide a series of experiences to our visitors with more than 24,000 pieces of jewelry, semi-jewelry, and high-style decoration.
It is with the delicate handling of the instruments in contact with fire that the artisans give life to true works of art.
A unique musical attraction in the country, “The Voice of Crystal” is the union of visual and sensorial art, where dozens of crystal glasses reveal musical notes – when put together, like a crystal harmonica, they compose a true symphony of feelings.

Norman Style Portico

15 minutes

This portico welcomes visitors coming from Porto Alegre by Taquara. Located close to the Gramado Crystal Park, the architecture is in the Norman style, emphasizing the town’s German origins.
Besides the portico, visitors are welcomed by a beautiful place for photos.
